Have you always dreamed of blind tasting and consider lifting a glass an Olympic event?

Well, the Cavistes group, always eager to keep traditions alive, is bringing back its highly sought-after World Wine Cup for a fourth year.

Starting in early March and continuing for seven evenings, we invite you to decide the winner of the battle between countries and their appellations: nothing less!

Once again this year, we are offering our dynamic, wine-fueled culinary journey that highlights tasting and friendly competition between countries renowned for their vintages.

The format is playful and guaranteed to break the post-break blues: two sommeliers from our team (from Caviste and Cerise) will defend their adopted nation by touting the merits of a wine without revealing which one it is.

So, there are two countries whose identities you will know before you arrive.

Three courses of food with two wine pairings per course.

For each pairing, two identified glasses (one number per country) for which we will ask you for your favorite! You will be voting blind, based on your taste and without any national biases :)

At the end of the meal, the sum of your votes will advance the winning country to the next round, where it will face a new wine team.

In the end, there will be one winning nation, but obviously no losing vineyard, since we will have tasted its products with love.

This year, the wine-producing countries that will take part in the game for the quarter-finals are as follows:

Again this year, the first six evenings will be held on Tuesdays at Cerise. And again this year, seats will be limited to 36 guests per match!

The winners of each section will clash in the semi-finals and ultimately in the final on June 2nd, when the atmosphere will be at its peak in the grand Cavistes stadium!

Please also note that tickets for the second round and the final will go on sale at the end of the first round. People who booked for the quarter-finals will be notified first.
