Have you always dreamed of blind tasting and view lifting your elbow as an Olympic event?

Well, the Cavistes group, always eager to keep traditions alive, brings you back for a third year (a tradition has to start somewhere…) its highly popular World Cup of Wine.

Starting in mid-March and for seven evenings, we invite you to decide the winner of the battle between countries and their appellations: nothing less!

We are once again offering our dynamic culinary journey format, highlighting tasting and healthy competition between countries renowned for their vintages.

The format is fun and guaranteed to break the post-spring break blues: two sommeliers from our team (from Caviste and Cerise) will defend their adopted nation by praising the merits of a wine without revealing which one it is.

So, two countries whose identities you will know before arriving.

Three courses of food with two wine pairings per course.

For each pairing, two identified glasses (one number per country) for which we will ask for your favorite! You vote blindly, based on your taste and without any national bias :)

At the end of the meal, the tally of your votes will advance the winning country to the next round, where it will face a new wine team.

In the end, there will be one winning nation, but obviously no losing vineyard, as we will have tasted its products with love.

Once again this year, the final evenings will be held on Tuesdays at Cavistes in order to accommodate more guests and meet demand. Seating will be limited to 80 guests per match! As the format is quite similar to our "recto / verso" events, the price will also be quite similar at $95 per person, including entertainment, wine, and a meal; taxes and service are extra.

The semi-finals and the final will therefore be held at Cavistes.

• FINAL (AT CAVISTES) ⚽ JUNE 2
