Bordeaux: Taming the giant
Sunday, February 1, 2026 - 2:00 PM
A workshop to better differentiate between the two banks of the planet's flagship wine region. For years, Bordeaux has remained one of Quebecers' favorite appellations, and it's no wonder, as year in and year out, it can lay claim to both quantity (it produces more than most New World countries) and quality (its classification, over 150 years old, remains a benchmark).
At the heart of conquests, when it was part of Aquitaine, it then evolved to the rhythm of the bourgeoisie, who created an en primeur system that is still a gold standard today. Journey through the history of the wine that introduced many to serious drinking, and explore the future of a region that is changing to embrace a certain modernity.
Price of the workshop-tasting including wine, appetizers and service: $114 + taxes
