South Africa
Saturday, April 25, 2026 - 2:00 PM
Once a legendary wine region in the 18th century with its Vin de Constance, pre-Mandela Africa spent the better part of the 20th century in the pillory of forgotten winemaking nations.
Following the free elections of 1994, the South African wine industry undertook one of the greatest qualitative shifts in the modern wine world, and its wines are now found on the world's finest tables and wine markets.
For this workshop, we will examine the innovative vision of the country’s wine producers, who are currently grappling with climatic and economic changes. On the program: an exploration of districts and regions, classic red blends, and surprising white wines!
Workshop-tasting price including wine, appetizers, and service: $114
This workshop is held at Cerise at 2:00 PM. The room setup includes a mix of high and low tables. Please take note of this when booking.
