A rising star of Galicia and the undisputed leader of the Rías Baixas, Albariño (or Alvarinho, depending on which side of the Minho river you are on) is that Atlantic white wine that combines salinity, freshness, and a hint of citrus with disconcerting ease. Long reserved for insiders, this Iberian grape variety now appeals as much to Sauvignon Blanc lovers as it does to Riesling fans with its iodine-laced vibrancy.
From the Iberian Peninsula to the cooler terroirs that are just beginning to dabble in it, we will explore three Albariños to understand why this grape variety, still unknown ten years ago, has become an obvious choice today... even in the middle of autumn!

Cerise's Apéro Cépages series is presented at the establishment's bar and is intended as a more relaxed experience with a Caviste at the counter who presents the subject for over an hour. We ask that you arrive on time to begin the tasting at 6:00 PM.
This offer consists of a digital gift certificate that can be redeemed at any time for our tasting workshops.
Upon receipt of the confirmation email, you will notice that you can print or save a gift certificate version of your purchase.
The classifications we use for gift certificates are as follows and represent both a monetary value and a workshop class. While the monetary value is fixed, the price of the categories may vary over time.
When checking out:
- Choose your workshop and date, and add it to your cart
- Validate with the CHECKOUT PLEASE button
- Enter your personal information
- On the right, copy the alphanumeric code from your gift certificate (received by email) into the DISCOUNT CODE field
- In the case of four-digit vouchers on white cardboard (old gift certificates), please repeat the process for each gift certificate and registration, as the system unfortunately only accepts one registration per certificate.
Please note that 'Groupe Cavistes' plastic cards are only usable in the dining rooms of our restaurants and cannot be converted for web use.
