Bairrada 'Vinha do Putto' 2013

Located in Bairrada, Campolargo is a third-generation family producer, now owning two estates - Quinta de Vale d’Azar and Quinta de S. Mateus. The first generation sold wine to merchants. In the 1960s, Martinho Campolargo’s son gave up winemaking. Preferring to focus on grape growing, Manuel expanded the vineyards, cultivating innovative varieties to help his merchant clients court new export markets. In 2000, Manuel’s sons, Carlos and Jorge, not only resumed winemaking but also established the family's eponymous label. With 160 hectares planted with 28 grape varieties of Portuguese and French origin, Campolargo is one of the most important and eclectic producers in Bairrada.
