Bourgeois, luxurious, rare, yet always high-quality, the wines of Bordeaux's Left Bank are today the cornerstone of this historic vineyard's reputation.

Whether through the 1855 classification or a *primeur* sales system that has become essential to the financial health of the great châteaux, the Médoc has always known how to influence the global wine landscape and its finances.

Even though we are already biased in our approach, we will use the Pauillac, Margaux, Pessac, and other Left Bank AOPs as a pretext to judge whether Bordeaux is still living up to its reputation.
