A vast and complex subject, an appellation based on 562 premiers crus, 33 grands crus, 44 villages, and 7 communal wines... Even if discreet due to its production representing barely 3% of the French vineyard, Burgundy nevertheless remains generous and idyllic for all wine lovers.
This workshop / general portrait of Burgundy will highlight its great historical background dating back to Roman times while briefly covering the 5 sub-regions that compose it, namely: Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte-Chalonnaise, and the Mâconnais.
We will explore how the Burgundian "Climats" and the influence of the artisans allow the region's two iconic grape varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, to express themselves in very different ways.
Workshop-tasting price including wine, food pairings, and service: $134 + taxes.
A few days before the workshop, a reminder email will be sent to you, and we ask that you let us know about any allergies and alternative dietary needs in advance so that we can serve you better. It is important to communicate this information to us before the day of the workshop.

The classifications we use for gift certificates are as follows and represent both a monetary value and a workshop class. While the monetary value is fixed, it is possible that the price of the categories may vary over time.
When checking out:
- Choose your workshop and date and add it to your cart
- Validate with the CHECK PLEASE button
- Enter your personal information
- On the right, copy the alphanumeric code from your gift certificate (received by email) into the DISCOUNT CODE field
- In the case of four-digit vouchers on white cardboard (old gift certificates), please repeat the process for each gift certificate and registration, as the system unfortunately only accepts one registration per certificate.
Please note that 'Groupe Cavistes' plastic cards are only usable in the dining rooms of our restaurants and cannot be converted for web use.
