A vast and complex subject, an appellation based on 562 premiers crus, 33 grands crus, 44 village appellations, and 7 communal ones... Even if discreet due to its production representing barely 3% of French vineyards, Burgundy remains generous and idyllic for all wine lovers.

This workshop / general portrait of Burgundy will highlight its rich historical background dating back to Roman times, while briefly covering the 5 sub-regions that compose it: Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise, and the Mâconnais.

We will explore how the Burgundian "Climats" and the influence of the artisans allow the region's two iconic grape varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, to express themselves in very different ways.

Price of the tasting workshop including wine, appetizers, and service: $134 + taxes.
