Michael Auer conceives the ideal Carnuntum wine as authentic, reflecting the special characteristics of both the grape variety and the region, possessing structure as well as drinkability. His wines, from regional classics to unique single-vineyard crus, clearly express their origin and the extraordinary terroir that nourishes them.

Michael Auer has sensitively dedicated himself to the prestigious "Rieds" (the Austrian equivalent of Crus) since the beginning of his winemaking career, with his "Ried Aubühl" having quickly reached the top in Austria. He adopts clear methods in both the vineyard and the cellar, favoring winemaking in harmony with nature, but leaving nothing to chance. The harvest is entirely manual and whole-cluster fermentation is preferred, lending the wines a particular softness and harmony. Michael Auer, far from being a young winemaker searching for his path, knows his goals perfectly and how to achieve them—a vision and consistency that can be felt and tasted in his wines.
