Chardonnay 'Les Villages' 2021

Thomas Bachelder currently produces wines under his own name in three countries: Canada, the United States (Oregon), and France (Burgundy).

Originally from our city, Montreal, he has prior work experience in all three regions. Until 2010, Bachelder was the founding winemaker of Le Clos Jordanne in Niagara, a position he held after working and studying wine in Burgundy, before working as a winemaker at Lemelson in Oregon. His ambitious three-terroir winemaking project began with the 2009 vintage, and his primary focus is Chardonnay, although Pinot Noir is also an integral part of the project.

He acts as a micro-négociant, buying grapes in each of the three regions and renting winemaking space to work there.
