Côtes de Duras 'N for Nadia' 2023

Nadia Lusseau created Château Haut Lavigne in 2002 when she took over 8.5 hectares of vineyards in the Côtes de Duras. The estate consists of 4 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, as well as 4.5 hectares of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Côtes de Duras are located about 100 kilometers from the Atlantic and benefit from sea air while receiving less rain, and therefore more sun, than the appellations further west.

Nadia's viticultural approach results in superior quality fruit and her winemaking allows for a true expression of the terroir. She has practiced organic farming since 2005 and all of her vineyards were certified organic in 2006. Nadia Lusseau represents a younger generation of winemakers in France, whose informed approach and delicate touch yield exceptional results.
