Casa Ferreirinha corkscrew

On Tuesday, September 22, we will be happy to host Teresa Araújo and Miguel Oliveira Pinto, our regional representative for the house of Casa Ferreirinha, for an all-Portuguese evening.

In collaboration with the Authentic agency, we will present six products from this historic house, covering the three sub-regions of the Douro: Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo, and the Douro Superior. Known for its founder Fernando Nicolau de Almeida, who in 1952 released the first "still" wine of the region, we will take the opportunity to discuss the highly dynamic future of this appellation.

For the occasion, we will use the six wines to start a discussion on the vineyards and the particularities of the Porto appellation. Some products will also be available for purchase that same evening.

In a casual open-bottle style at the bar and in the dining room, the 6-wine and appetizer commented tasting package is offered at $69 per person, service and taxes extra.

The food service will be light accompaniment, and sharing platters will also be available for order that same evening.

$69 plus service ($11) and taxes for 6 wines and 6 appetizers.
