Forever the second fiddle in Piedmont to its illustrious cousins Barolo and Barbaresco, Dolcetto is by no means a consolation wine. Generous, fruity, and round, with just enough tannin to be taken seriously, this is the wine Piedmontese keep for themselves—the one you drink every day rather than save for special occasions.
Despite its name, which evokes sweetness, this grape variety produces wines that are dry, delicious, and easy-drinking, perfect for getting to know Nebbiolo without having to wait ten years in the cellar. A beautiful way to understand Piedmont differently, one glass at a time.
Price of the workshop-aperitif including three wines, appetizers, and service: $69 + taxes.
Cerise's Apéro Cépages series is presented at the establishment's bar and is intended as a more casual experience with a sommelier at the counter presenting the subject for an hour or more. We ask that you arrive on time to begin the tasting at 6:00 PM.
This offer consists of a digital gift certificate that can be exchanged at any time for our tasting workshops.
Upon receiving your confirmation email, you will notice that you can print or save a gift certificate version of your purchase.
The classifications we use for gift certificates represent both a monetary value and a workshop category. While the monetary value is fixed, it is possible that the price of the categories may vary over time.
When checking out:
- Choose your workshop and date, and add it to your cart
- Validate with the L'ADDITION SVP button
- Enter your personal information
- On the right, enter the alphanumeric code from your gift certificate (received by email) in the DISCOUNT CODE field
- For four-digit vouchers on white cardboard (old gift certificates), please repeat the process for each gift certificate and registration, as the system unfortunately only accepts one registration per certificate.
Please note that 'Groupe Cavistes' plastic cards can only be used in the dining rooms of our restaurants and cannot be converted for web use.
