Everyone knows the Loire, its châteaux, and its Muscadet, which introduced a generation of drinkers to affordable, crisp whites. However, few people realize that this region, the third-largest wine-growing area in France, boasts astonishing diversity.
During this presentation, we will take a tour of some of the 86 appellations to put Loire bubbles, Gamay, Melon de Bourgogne, and Cabernet Franc into perspective, without forgetting the original Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc, whether dry or sweet. We will also try to understand why the Loire remains a unique case in a global landscape dominated by large regional groups.
Workshop and tasting price, including wine, appetizers, and service: $124 + taxes.
Weekend tasting workshops generally last between two and a half and three hours. We present the subject matter for half an hour of theory and then taste six food and wine pairings.
A few days before the workshop, a reminder email will be sent to you, and we ask that you inform us of any allergies or alternative dietary requirements in advance so that we can serve you better. It is important that you provide this information before the day of the workshop.

The tasting includes 6 wines, with styles varying based on availability, accompanied by 6 food pairings.

The classifications we use for gift certificates are as follows and represent both a monetary value and a workshop class. While the monetary value is fixed, the price of the categories may vary over time.

- Choose your workshop and date, and add it to your cart
- Validate with the L'ADDITION SVP button
- Enter your personal information
- On the right, enter the alphanumeric code from your gift certificate (received by email) in the DISCOUNT CODE field
- For the four-digit white cardboard vouchers (old gift certificates), please repeat the process for each gift certificate and registration, as the system unfortunately only accepts one registration per certificate.
