Elected in 2008 but truly president in 2009, we all miss Barack every day... Beyond politics, we will revisit the first wine trade crisis of our millennium.
For this lunch of unique vintage bottles, join Robert Herrera to taste, discuss, and laugh in the company of the following bottles:
- Alsace Grand Cru Steinert Pinot Gris 2009, Domaine Kuentz
- Rioja Reserva 2009 'Vina Ardanza', La Rioja Alta
- Pauillac 'La Réserve' 2009, Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse
The Cavistes Vintage Lunch series is presented in the establishment's private room and is intended as an exclusive experience. A "Caviste" will taste with you while presenting a specific vintage for two hours or more. We ask that you arrive on time to begin the tasting at noon.
The tasting includes 3 or 4 wines from our cellar representing specific characteristics of the featured vintage. This is accompanied by a platter of assorted appetizers that does not constitute a full meal.
If you wish to stay with us after the tasting, the restaurant menu is available and selected wines are offered with a 40% discount on their regular price.
