Saint-Émilion, Fronsac, Pomerol and other Libournais Merlots

Bordeaux Right Bank wines are increasingly popular in our market. More accessible than those of the Médoc when comparing price and drinkability, this region is capable of both greatness and excess, much like the rest of Bordeaux.

We will review the history and terroir of this region which, even if less illustrious than its Left Bank counterpart, remains in constant transformation. While we will focus primarily on St-Émilion, Fronsac, and Pomerol as ambassadors of this exceptional terroir, we will also touch upon other satellite appellations that are striving to restore Merlot to its rightful place on the wine map.
