Sancerrois
Thursday, September 24, 2026 - 6:00 PM
Complementary to our regular workshops that provide an overview of a vineyard as a whole, the Connoisseur evenings focus on a single appellation to dissect its subtleties and go further.
For this tasting focused on the Sancerre region, we will examine the three types of soil that coexist in this small Loire terroir: limestone "caillottes," Kimmeridgian marly "white lands," and flint. We will attempt to understand how each imparts its own distinct signature on the Sauvignon Blanc that reigns supreme there.
Vinification, aging, exposure: nothing will be left out in this precise, blind tasting, designed for enthusiasts who want to delve deeper into their quest for great wines and great evenings.
Price of the workshop-tasting including three wines, appetizers, and service: $79 + taxes.
