Tannat / Cherry Aperitif
Wednesday, March 4, 2026 – 6:00 PM
Historically native to the Southwest and primarily Madiran, today, Tannat is also found in the Southern Hemisphere. Long considered a tannic powerhouse, it will be in the spotlight for the first time at our grape-varietal happy hour.
We will therefore demystify this notion of heaviness and intensity to examine the aromatic variations of Tannat and explore how this grape variety, rediscovered by Alain Brumont, has evolved into more digestible and modern forms.
Workshop happy hour price including three wines, appetizers, and service: $69 + taxes.
Cerise's Apéro Cépages series is presented at the establishment's bar and is intended to be a more casual experience with a sommelier at the counter presenting the subject for an hour or more. We ask that you arrive on time to begin the tasting at 6:00 PM.
