Weinviertel Ried Königsberg 2020

A "Riedenwein" or "Lagenwein" is the most specific designation of origin and naturally forms the top of the pyramid. It can be identified on the bottle, and may be inscribed under the name "Ried(e)" or "Lage" on the label.

By reflecting the individual characteristics of specific vineyards, these wines are captivating from their youth and gain expressiveness over time. Ideally, a Riedenwein should possess the attributes of a reserve wine. However, given that simpler wines, which have undergone short aging, are still sold under the vineyard name alongside wines of exceptional quality, the term "Reserve" can be used to distinguish them.
